This page lists some of the major rules of the WoW wiki.
Note: Only Razgriz Ghost may edit this page. Anyone else who does so faces permament blockage.
Editing
- No vandalism. You may be banned for up to a day for vandalising a page.
- Only admins rename pages.
- Don't edit a page based on your opinion, unless it is a poll or vote. That is what the comments are for.
Badges
- No-one is allowed to change the badge names or pictures.
- If you find that you have not earned a badge you think you should have earned, then tell an admin. They won't be able to award you the badge, but they might be able to fix the problem.
Categories
- Never excessively add categories. That includes you, DoomFangMan.
- All categories must use capitals except for a, the, of, etc.
Users/Bots
- Never edit another user page. Ever.
- Never edit somebody else's bot. No excuses.
- Do not access another user's account. On anything. I shouldn't even be saying this,
User Access Levels
- Use your access level responsibly. Those who abuse their rank on the wiki face permament rank loss and blockage.
- Do not beg to become a rank. Instead, act as if you have got what it takes. You are more likely to get a rank by proving than asking.
General Rules
- Be good natured.
- Do not enter false info. Three strikes and a month-long ban.
- Follow the rules well. For example, if you are not allowed to talk about purple things, you will be expected to not talk about violet or lavender things either. You are not actually forbidden to talk about purple things.
